About The Dales Veterinary Centre

As an independent practice, The Dales Veterinary Centre can focus on you and your pet’s needs with no corporate business to answer to. Our aim is always to put your pet’s welfare first and we will work with you to find a solution to your pet’s problems. We invest heavily each year in both equipment and training to ensure we can provide the best for your pet.

All of us here at The Dales are pet owners ourselves and our recommendations and treatments are those that we would offer for our own pets. To find out what our clients have to say, see below or have a look at our Facebook page.

Mark G Hutchinson BVetMed MRCVS

"Having qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1990, I spent some time working in a large animal practice in Kent. A year working and travelling in Australia followed, before returning back to my roots in Yorkshire. A spell working in Selby preceded my move to Otley and taking over The Dales Veterinary Centre in 1998. I enjoy spending time at home with my dog Oscar and walking in the beautiful Dales’ countryside. In my rare spare time, I can be found snowboarding (falling over) in the Alps or scuba diving (controlled drowning) in the Med, usually accompanied by my daughter Millie."

Absolutely brilliant vets, very knowledgeable and … interested in your animals … So friendly and helpful and listen to what you say. I have all 3 of my dogs there and wouldn’t take them anywhere else.
